Nicole found yoga at age 17, at the time she was living in a small town in Alberta where yoga classes weren’t very common. Her first introduction to yoga was Gaiam videos with Rodney Yee + Sean Corne, shortly after she attended college and found noon hour yoga classes in the gym. It wasn’t until she moved to Vancouver a few years later that she found yoga was much more accessible and the beautiful community that came with it.
At the age of twenty-one, Nicole discovered her inner teacher’s voice and a passion toward guidance others through movement. This inner voice was a calling for her to take a new direction into the path of health and wellness, which started off with a wonderful opportunity as Ambassador for Lululemon in 2007. Throughout her teaching career of nearly 20 years, Nicole has taught many different types of classes, from aqua fit, TRX, Spin, Barre, kick boxing, SUP, Bootcamp, group fitness, mat pilates and yoga. In 2014, she traveled and studied yoga in India and received her 200RYS certificate in Ashtanga, Vinyasa Flow + Yin Yoga. The solo trip to India was a pivotal life changing experience.
As a Mom of two now, Nicole has woven yoga into many aspects of her life and has since been certified to teach pre/post natal yoga as well kids yoga! In the summer of 2021, Nicole started kids and family yoga classes and discovered a new level of magic within this sharing the gift of yoga to young ones and families.
