Michelle Day

Michelle Day (AKA Mitch) has a BFA with a double major in Dance and Psychology, is a certified Advance Group Fitness Instructor, a certified Tai Chi Instructor, an initiated Kriya Yoga Yogini and a Reiki Practitioner. Mitch developed and currently teaches her own fitness style class called Centering - a fusion fitness class that integrates weight training, stretching and breathing techniques. Her class blends traditional sculpting exercises with other tried and true ancient art forms such as: Yoga, Tai Chi, Qi Gong and Dance…enhancing one’s overall strength, flexibility, balance and well-being.

 

Mitch spent her teens dancing across Canada as a ballet and modern dancer; her 20’s working as an Aerobics, Tai Chi and Yoga instructor at Club Med Resorts in the Caribbean and Mexico. For the last two decades she has traveled the nation as a Meeting Services Director and Fitness Motivator for a not-for-profit organization that promotes good health and an active lifestyle for those living with diabetes.

 

Mitch can teach in both English and French.
