I’m a Yoga Teacher originally from Toronto, Canada living in Montego Bay, Jamaica on a mission to share yoga, meditation, and wellness with others; especially beings seeking a sense of peace to calm and quiet their minds and bodies.
I started practicing yoga in 1997 as a way to quiet my monkey mind and overcome my depilating anxiety.
Little did I know in a few short years I would have the privilege of becoming a certified teacher, passionately committed to sharing yoga with others who, like me, were sick of feeling the mental and physical pain of stress and anxiety.
Before yoga found me, I couldn’t sit still let alone quiet my mind for a single minute. Once I started practicing; I was compelled to search and join retreats from all around the world.
Yoga made me feel strong and brave; feelings I longed to have in my heart and body.
Yoga offered me a path to teach high school in the New York Public School system for many years.
Through my yoga and mindfulness journey I was able to go to many different retreats combining my love of travel, culture, and yoga. I’m inspired by Sivanada, Vipassana, Thich Nhat Hahn, the Mayan people and many others to find my own unique path.
I’ve had the honour of introducing Yin Yoga and mindfulness to thousands of students.
What started as my own personal journey to quiet my mind and anxiety quickly unraveled into my greatest passion, an exciting career, and an amazing journey.
My aim is to create and hold a safe space for others to feel a sense of peace within their own body; mentally, physically, and emotionally.
I look forward to meeting on the mat to guide you discover your place of peace within.
