- Hi, my name is Laura and I have been a yoga and pilates instructor for over 15 years and an aqua fitness instructor for 6 years
I teach a variety of different styles to varying skill sets.
As a yoga instructor I have lead one on one sessions and full size classes. I have also implemented and lead numerous workshops. Such as Power Flow, Yin Yoga, Restorative workshops, Mom and Baby classes, Pre and Post-Natal, and combined classes such as Yang to Yin, Guided Meditation, Kids Yoga, Senior Yoga, Yoga for Mobility, Chair yoga, Pilates and Yogilates.
I am engaging, encouraging and authentic and believe in instructing a class so that every participant walks away feeling like their practice was made just for them.
I love assessing the different needs of each student so that they get the best practice for them and I do not believe that yoga is bound by certain body shapes, or limitations. Therefore, my classes are inclusive and welcoming regardless of the class level, I may be teaching. I like to keep my classes light, with humor infused where permitted.
I am certified in – Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin Yoga, Restorative, Pre-Natal, Pilates, Senior Yoga and Yoga for Individuals with Limited Mobility and aqua fitness.
I am forever a student and continue to immerse myself in teachers training whenever I can.
What you will find in my classes: A great playlist, a calm and welcoming environment, a place where you may walk in wound up, but you will most certainly walk out unwound and blissed out.
When I’m not teaching: You can find me outside in nature when the weather permits, playing with my children, practicing yoga, trying out local food spots and coffee joints.
