Maia Wise is a certified RYT 200 and a licensed clinical social worker. Maia has transformed minds as a clinical therapist and brings authenticity and confidence to yoga instruction.
Trained in Bhakti Yoga, the yoga of love, Maia creates fluid sequences that strengthen and stretch both body and soul. Whether in studio or with a client, Maia infuses clinical expertise and the philosophy of yoga to assist one's journey inward.

Maia completed her undergraduate degree from George Mason University and received her MSW from University of Maryland, Baltimore. After graduating undergraduate school in 2013, Maia went on to serve in the Peace Corps as a health educator. During that time, she fell in love with serving others and creating genuine relationships. This served as her foundation to start her private practice, Wise Therapeutic Solutions LLC.
Maia has over 7 years of experience, which includes individualized cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma informed group therapy and substance abuse treatment. Throughout her career, she has helped an array of clients sharpen resiliency skills in the face of adversity by utilizing a strengths-based, trauma informed, and client-centered approach in therapy.
