Charlotte Kading is a 200-hour certified yoga teacher who lives in southeastern Connecticut. She teaches weekly Yoga Basics and Vinyasa Yoga classes at Blissworks Yoga & Healing Arts in New London, CT, along with private one-on-one classes.
Charlotte has been practicing yoga for 20 years. She taught herself poses and meditation techniques from books and videos as a child to help manage severe asthma symptoms, along with the side effects of asthma medications. She continued practicing yoga through high school and college and began studying yoga philosophy on her own time — reading and re-reading books by Ram Dass, Eknath Easwaran, and many other revered spiritual teachers, and the Bhagavad Gita.
Charlotte especially enjoys bringing her background of yoga scholarship, Tarot card reading, and her continued daily reading of sacred texts and their interpretations to her teaching. She also enjoys meeting people where they are and making yoga accessible to as many people as possible, so that as many of us as possible may begin to walk this road of self-discovery and compassionate awareness.
