I started in the fitness world at a young age. My mom is a fitness instructor and teaches yoga and Pilates, so I started taking classes as a child, even teaching and training people while working on my degree from Purdue University. I have a group fitness certification through AFAA and love to teach almost all formats, especially drawn to yoga and Pilates for all the health benefits and mind/body connection. I achieved my first yoga certification from the Yoga Alliance in 2001.
