Tiana Watson

Tiana Watson is a native of Dallas, Texas where she attended Booker T. Washington Highschool for the Performing and visual arts. She began dancing as an outlet to express herself without fully having to speak out loud. Her passion for dance has grown tremendously over the years as she has gotten more rigorous training from different talented artists— Billy Barry, Stephanie Troyak, Ida Saki, Leslie Peck, Desmond Richardson, and more. Tiana has also had the opportunity to perform works by Micaela Taylor, Roderick George, Ohad Naharin, and George Balanchine. Tiana has had the opportunity to go to many rigorous dance intensives like San Francisco Conservatory of dance, Alvin Ailey on full scholarship, Next generation ballet and many others that she was accepted to like Body Trafic, Lines,  and Hubbard Street dance. Tiana is also an up and coming choreographer that has produced over 20 dance/ dance on screen pieces. Tiana is currently in her Third year at Juilliard where she wishes to become more informed of different ways to perfect and learn more about her craft of dance. Tiana in her future years at The Juilliard School and beyond wants to develop her idea of going around and teaching dance in rural areas and starting a non-profit to benefit the younger generations to become more informed with dance. She is also getting her certification in personal training and nutrition to have those skills combined to advance her career in the future.
