Dawn has over 20 years experience in the wellness field. She works at the University of New Hampshire (USA) as a well-being educator/counselor at the campus medical facility, is the men's hockey team yoga teacher, and is an adjunct faculty member in the College of Health & Human Service where she teaches an academic course on yoga and mindfulness meditation. Additionally, she teaches a weekly class at Bending Bodhi Yoga. She is a 200-RYT and pursuing an additional 300 hour with Jason Crandell Yoga Method.

Dawn’s authenticity, wisdom, and wit make her yoga classes accessible and healing to all identities, body shapes, and life histories. She believes that the strength and vulnerability that transpires on the mat creates a foundation of personal freedom and wisdom off the mat. To aid in this insight and transformation, she gives her students permission and gentle encouragement to use their strength, stability, mobility, and wisdom to grow their practice. Her encouraging style helps students meet their bodies and minds with curiosity, gratitude, authenticity, and non-judgement. Dawn appreciates teaching beginners and experienced yoga students. All of her classes integrate compassion, mindfulness, playfulness, and joy.

Dawn loves to travel and makes annual trips to the Caribbean to escape the long and cold winter months. She appreciates the culture, history, and hospitality of the islands.

Student Feedback:

I’ve enjoyed every class I’ve taken at the studio, but especially love Dawn’s class. She brings joy, laughter, and relaxation to every class, and I always feel better when I leave than I did coming in.

Dawn did a fabulous job with gentle flow class. Here teaching is clear and focused, the transitions are very thought out. She always offers suggestions that offer students options for each pose. Good use of props too. It was a wonderful way to begin the weekend.

This is an amazing class. Dawn uses gentle movements during the class that more than provide a welcome stretch and strength building along with tuning into your body.

This is a great class. Although a gentle class, Dawn provides a strenuous (gentle) and intentional flow.
