My passion for fitness started. when I was child. I loved to swim, dance and gymnastics. Growing up I was part of our local swim team, took dance lessons, was on the grammar, high school and college cheerleading squads, and ran track and cross country. While in college I started taking group fitness classes at my local gym and I was hooked. I first got certified in group fitness in my 20s with AFAA and taught step and hi/lo aerobics for a few years. After taking a break from teaching taking the time to raise my children I came back to teaching group fitness in 2007. It was a great way to stay active and allowed me the flexibility to be around for my family. Over the years I've taught a variety of classes from basic strength training, barre, zumba, cize, step, core 360, turbokick, and group power. Nothing makes me happier than to share my passion for movement and health with others.
