Liz completed her RYT200 in May of 2022 from Be Happy Yoga & Salt Cave and her trauma-informed Registered Children’s Yoga Teacher (RCYT) certification in May of 2024. Liz enjoys teaching a variety of yoga classes, Kids in the Cave, and CoreFirst classes. Monday through Friday mornings, you’ll find her teaching yoga at Teranga Academy where Bowling Green City school’s newest immigrant and refugee teens come to learn.
Liz began dancing at the age of 3 and continued dancing for her college dance team at KWC. After a decade working in higher education, Liz knew her heart and passions belonged elsewhere, and began raising a family while pursuing a more active and balanced lifestyle. Thankfully, Liz found yoga.
Besides yoga, Liz enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 kiddos in the garden, soccer field, skating rink, and the outdoors in general. Liz is also an avid road and trail runner and loves spending time in the kitchen.
Liz received her Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from the University of Louisville and her Bachelor of Science in Communication Arts from Kentucky Wesleyan College.
Liz wholeheartedly believes yoga is an inclusive, lifelong practice for every body; igniting breath, body & mind, so that we can share our light and peace with others.
