Paula Fortier

I have been active in fitness and sport for my whole life: gymnastics, dance, track, martial arts, and many outdoor activities.

Since I was already an educator, I teach elementary school, and love being active, I took the leap to train and certify as a fitness instructor in 2015. Group fitness is my passion! I relish working alongside others with the common goal of moving our bodies and having fun. I enjoy teaching circuit classes and boot camps but especially enjoy leading Pilates-based barre classes with or without a barre.

My main goal in preparing for a class is to be sure that all levels of fitness can participate comfortably, providing several options and by using many functional movements to strengthen our bodies for real-life.

I teach for a private community association as well as a local gym. I am a mother of three and a wife to my favourite person. So excited to travel, teach and meet new people.

I am honoured to be able to build relationships with my class participants and I hope to inspire people to see and feel the benefits of being active for their body AND their minds!
