Melanie Tukendorf

My name is Melanie.  I have worked in the fitness industry for 23 years with experience teaching both small and large groups, one to one training and multiple different formats. I currently run my own personal training business that I started in 2003 and also teach group Pilates (mat and reformer), barre, cardio/strength classes and cycle at 2 additional locations.  I enjoy teaching all these formats as well as stretch release style classes. I am certified through Tune Up Fitness to teach The Roll Model Method and am looking forward to receiving Jill Miller’s new book Body by Breathe.  I really enjoy learning about how to both train hard but also recover and help people feel their best. 

I love the work I do and the people I am blessed to meet and work with.

On a personal note I am married with 2 wonderful, busy kids.  I work with a trainer to allow myself the opportunity to focus on my own fitness and support me so I can do some really focused lifting in a safe environment.  I love it!  I also love relaxing walks with my husband and our dog and a nice glass of wine on the weekends.
