Tamara Homolka

I graduated from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Communications and worked in corporate world for many years and also stayed home to take care of my three children.  In 2017, I  decided to make my love for fitness into a career and became an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor and CPR/AED certified through the American Heart Association.   I  also have my certification as a Schwinn Cycling Certified MPower Instructor and holds a Level 1 Certificate of Completion through Trigger Point Foam Rolling.

After training and teaching in gyms, I decided to start my own personal training and Zoom class business in 2020, Fitness with Tamara.  I train clients (individual and small groups) in their home or my home gym (approximately 20 clients), teach four group fitness classes on Zoom and teach four group fitness classes at a park district gym.  


I have experience and enjoy working with all age groups and fitness levels. I strive to help clients and class participants get out of their “comfort zone” and help them achieve their fitness goals. As a long time health and fitness fanatic, I  love sharing my passion for living a healthy, active lifestyle.   

I have completed 6 Marathons, 3 Half Marathons, and various other races.  In addition to running, my interests and ares of expertise include TRX, HIIT, Boot Camp, Circuit/Interval Training, Strength Training, Youth Exercise, Youth Sports Conditioning, Senior Fitness, Weight Loss, Weight Management, and Clean Eating.
