Melanie is a Certified Yoga Instructor, a BCRPA certified Fitness Instructor, a Weight Training Specialist, a Holistic Nutrition Health Coach, and a Plant-based Nutrition Specialist.
With over eight years of professional teaching experience, Melanie has additional certifications in Older Adult Fitness, Trauma-informed Yoga, Traditional Chinese Medicine Yoga Teacher Training, Yin Yoga, High-Intensity Interval Training, In-depth Joint Anatomy and Sound Therapy. Melanie has worked with hundreds of students in group and private settings across Vancouver Island and is passionate about guiding them on a journey of empowerment, self-discovery and growth.
Inspired by her trainings and passion for movement, Melanie's classes are multidimensional and often include joint mobility, functional movement patterns, muscular conditioning, yoga asanas, acupressure, aromatherapy, pranayama practices and guided meditations. As a teacher, she intends to offer classes that support and nourish the physical body and the mind.
