Hi, I'm Angie Sitaram. For as long as I can remember, I have had a passion for health and fitness. I notice a huge difference in my mental health when I am active and making time to take care of myself.
Practicing and teaching Yoga is my passion! If I could only choose one activity to give to myself for my well-being, it would getting on my mat to practice Yoga. The biggest challenge I find in yoga, maybe in general, is getting out of my head and becoming present and in the moment. I think this will always be a challenge for me, but the more I practice yoga, I feel more grounded and clear in all aspects of my life.
I completed my 200 hr Yoga Teacher training in 2019 through Power Yoga Canada. I have completed a 40 hr intensive assisting training as well as a 25 hr Little Pretzels Kids Yoga Training and a 40 hr Yin Yoga Teacher training.
Yoga makes me feel stronger; physically, mentally and spiritually, as well as empowered and confident. It brings me a sense of calm, peace and joy. I want my students to feel the same. I want them to leave their practice feeling lighter, knowing that they are strong and capable.
I live just outside of Toronto in Ontario, Canada.
I am married and have two children and two very sweet dogs.
I love to travel and take in yoga and fitness classes while on vacation. I am excited about the opportunity to teach yoga while on vacation.
