Lizy Gipson

After finding a Zumba class by accident, Lizy realized she had found something special. 3 months after that first class, she took her training and within 5 months, she formed her own company and began teaching classes. Her goal of every class is to share laughter, community, acceptance and the joy of movement.  In her 10 year career, she has been trained in 7 different formats and has been a special volunteer and leader with the Zumba Head Office.

During the day, she is a Girl Geek as an IT admin, managing 100 users and uses her Zumba classes to dance away the stress. As an empty nester, she is the proud Cat Mom of 5 fur babies that keep her company and trained when to give out the treats.  She also maintains a second company selling beautiful crystals, jewelry, and metaphysical items.

Lizy strives to lead by example, having lost over 80lbs through teaching Zumba and is able to relate to everyone no matter where they are on their fitness journey. She believes that the world changes one person at a time, and that begins with her.
