Jeannie is a devoted Yoga student and 200-HR RYT teacher. She practices the Ashtanga lineage, and teaches Vinyasa Yoga. She is also a licensed Barre Eclipse Instructor and NASM certified Personal Trainer.
Jeannie helps people learn about their body through movement in a fun and invigorating way. Her classes have an element of dialogue and self-exploration. She encourages students to try different techniques, so they can learn about their body and develop a practice or workout that is best for them. She teaches on alignment, and explains why certain movements are done. This allows the student to choose what supports their needs.
Across all the work she does - Yoga, personal training, and fitness classes - she focuses on sharing how to strengthen and lengthen the body to improve physical wellbeing and overcome injury. She is passionate about helping Yogis fill the gaps between their practice and the physical strength needed to feel their best and cultivate longevity in their practice. Her students often share that they leave class feeling that they have worked muscles that they didn’t know they had!
