Currently: Teaching Vinyasa Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Astanga Yoga 3 days per week at the YMCA (3years now)

Currently: Teaching Group HIIT 1 day per week at the YMCA (3 years now)

Currently: Teaching Group indoor Cycle 2 days per week at the YMCA (3 years now)

Currently: Teaching Senior fitness monthly at the YMCA

Seasonally: Teaching Water Fitness weekly at the YMCA

Currently: Personal one on one training and small group training averaging 12 sessions per week (30+years now)

I enjoy helping others become more than they otherwise believe they can be. I enjoy multitasking and including others in a team victory. Group activities and succeeding together is an ultimate win. Finding solutions is a habit of my heart. I enjoy knowing that I have contributed toward someone else’s ability to win or improve.

I also enjoy traveling and exploring new adventures. The sandy sea shore is my happy place and the outdoor adventure makes my brain speak deeply into my sole. Hearing that my giving has reached someones deeper connection to their very own abilities makes my bell ring loudly. 

 

Pursuing a career in professional dance began in the mid 80's at college.  I found ballroom dance instruction as a way to allow me to finance my college era days. Teaching others keeps me a student of the journey.  What began as a dream to dance professionally led me to the many avenues of group fitness as I began to find new interests in the fitness world. I am always adding to my every growing toolbox of fitness certifications and the endless ways to keep the flow of movement interesting and effective for others.  My passion for fitness is lifelong and the reward of helping lead others into their best mode of movement is ever changing and always inspiring. I have worked (played) in the private industry, the public industry, the corporate programs, the college programs, volunteer programs and owned/operated my own studio and fitness center.  I've been involved in all of the angles of the fitness enterprise and every angle has taught me so much through the experience and struggles.  At any age, fitness should be applicable, measurable, enjoyable and effective.  I love enriching the perception of what is possible for others.
