I'm an ACE-certified personal trainer with nearly 20 years of experience teaching indoor cycling. I’m also an occupational therapist-turned-award-winning health and fitness freelance journalist, certified intuitive eating coach, and podcaster.
As an intuitive eating coach, I help women heal their relationships with food, exercise, and their bodies.
The author of There’s No Room for Fear in a Burley Trailer, a (hopefully) humorous collection of stories chronicling my misadventures on my journey from amateur triathlete to mom, my byline has also appeared in The Washington Post, Runner’s World, SELF, The Guardian, Time, Outside, AARP, Forbes, and many others.
Despite, or more likely because of being picked last for every team as a kid, I’m also a certified personal trainer, six-time marathoner, and two-time Ironman finisher. My podcast, Real Fit, features conversations with women athletes about body image, enoughness, and more.
I live in Boulder, Colo with my husband and two daughters.
