As a student of Yoga for over 20 years, I have always been drawn to the mental and physical wellbeing that Yoga offers. During the pandemic, I decided to turn my personal interest into a more dedicated practice with the Yoga and Ayurveda Center's 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training Program under Stephanie Ball-Mitchell. I started teaching in 2020 and have never looked back.
I love learning about my students and adapting the practice to meet their needs. I add mindfulness, meditation and self-care elements into the physical practice of Yoga to deepen the sense of caring, kindness and peace that are the hallmarks of a truly wonderful class. My aim in each class is to meet the student where they are today, show them ways that they can safely challenge their bodies and bring them to a mental state of wellbeing, peace and calm.
