Shannon Fisher is a certified AFAA Group Fitness Instructor and AFAA Indoor Cycling Instructor and a licensed Zumba Fitness, Aqua Zumba and Zumba Gold Instructor. Shannon currently teaches six formats: HIIT/Tabata, Cycle, CIRCL Mobility, Zumba Fitness, Aqua Zumba and Zumba Gold. She also has experience teaching water aerobics, Pilates and aqua cycle. Shannon first fell in love with group fitness over 20 years ago over when she decided to take control of her health and well-being after college. She decided to take this love to instructing in 2018 when she obtained her Zumba instructor license and in 2020 with her AFAA Group Fitness certification. She continues to add to her fitness knowledge with new certifications and skills including becoming a Women's Fitness Specialist. Her fitness philosophy is to bring fun and functionality into her classes from creating dynamic music playlists to incorporating balance work and movements for daily living. She is also passionate about her day job as a workforce development and employment services supervisor for her county's human services and job center office.
During her downtime, Shannon has a love/hate relationship with running but is currently training for her tenth half-marathon. She most loves traveling with her husband and exploring local parks and trails with her husband David and two dogs Oliver and Finnegan.
