Jessica Janc has been a part of the Fitness Industry since 1992. She attended the University of Utah where she studied Exercise Sports Science with an emphasis on Nutrition. She has been an ACE certified Aerobic Instructor and Personal trainer for twenty-four years. She studied under the Stott Pilates Method, is Bosu Certified, Madd Dogg Spin certified and teaches many other fitness classes at Equinox Sports Center in Carlsbad. Jessica is Ace Certified group Exercise Instructor, ACE Certified in Lifestyle and Weight Management, is a Sports Nutritionist certified through the National Association of Sports Nutrition (NASN) and is a Clinical Nutritionist through the Natural Healing Institute of California.
Jessica moved to San Diego, CA form Salt Lake City, UT in 1998. She was hired to do a series of videos with her all-time fitness Mentor Tamilee Webb and Fit TV. She continued to do many other fitness videos with Tamilee over the next few years.
Jessica started her own company, Body and Soul Nutrition, in 2006 after working for a local nutrition company for 7 years. She loves being able to help men, women, children, and athletes to eat healthier and make exercise truly a lifestyle. In 2011 she was offered her dream job at a Live-in weight loss camp Premier Fitness camp located at The Omni La Costa Resort & Spa. She worked as their Nutrition Director for the last 7 years and was able to get certified in Live blood analysis where she learned to help people with Digestion and gut health. She helped many athletes, teens going into college, people retiring and getting ready for the next phase of their lives, and very overweight individuals. Jessica was passionate about educating their clients about proper nutrition and to help them finally make eating healthy a lifestyle.
2017, Jessica went back to her own business, Body and Soul nutrition and has an office in Carlsbad off Avenida Encinas and Palomar Airport Road at Longevity Chiropractic and Wellness center. She offers group Nutrition, One on one nutrition, family nutrition, Sports nutrition, and Live Blood Analysis. She also travels to different corporations to educate their employees about how proper nutrition can help to keep them from getting sick and therefore, better employees! She has also added group and personal training to her services as well as Subconscious Release Therapy to remove any of those Limiting thoughts and belief’s that could be holding her clients back from truly changing their habits for good.
Jessica prides herself in a balanced approach to nutrition. She specializes in Gut health, Anti-inflammatory nutrition, Anti-Cancer nutrition, Diabetes, and Sports nutrition for teens and adults. Her company Body and Soul Nutrition is now Body and Soul Health & Wellness, offering a full Wellness approach to good health.
