I enjoy teaching fitness. My favorite group fitness classes to teach are water aerobics, zumba, body conditioning, and step. I have experience teaching spin and pilates. I am 53 years old and after a career teaching middle school and when my husband retired, I also retired from teaching school. I am now enjoying my fitness career. I eagerly take certifications and have taken, group fitness with the YMCA and AFAA. I have taken AFAA's senior fitness and a mat science workshop. With the highly effective and fun, dance/fitness program, Zumba, I have taken four workshops one of which is Zumba Gold. I have also taken AFAA's personal training workshop, mainly for the knowledge gained for teaching group fitness. My husband and I love to travel and enjoy vacationing in the tropics. It would be a pleasure to teach that which I love while enjoying the beauty of one of the tropical resorts!
