Debbie Krysiak

Debbie Krysiak has been teaching fitness and wellness classes in Wisconsin for the past 16 years. She has taught everything from salsa, aerobics, step, ball, yoga, strength and core classes, and most recently Zumba. She has a true passion and love for movement of any kind. Debbie’s desire to help others led her down the path to teaching. Debbie’s intensive gymnastics training during her early years created a firm foundation of style, grace, strength, and energy that can be seen in all her teaching activities. She believes encouragement and guidance are essential parts of every class, helping members grow both physically and personally. Her boundless, positive energy is a trademark of her style and reputation. She has learned from the best in the fitness industry and prides herself on being an example of her work and coaching others to lead a fulfilling healthy life. In 2000, Debbie’s life was changed forever when she attended her first yoga class. She was immediately drawn to the practice because of the freedom of spirit and expression she experienced. Since this time, she has found the benefits reach far beyond the physical experience. It has touched every aspect of her life, both on and off the mat, encouraging self-acceptance within herself and finding greater compassion for all living things. Debbie has several certifications to her name. Most recently, Debbie was certified in St. George, Utah to teach Drums Alive™ and in Chicago, IL to teach Zumba. She has been certified by ACE (American Council on Exercise) since 1997. In December 2004, she became Vinyasa Yoga certified from Midwest Power Yoga, a Baptiste affiliate, and nationally registered and certified through Yoga Alliance at the 200 hour level. Debbie graduated from U.W. Milwaukee in 1989 with a B.S. in Social Welfare and credits toward her Masters in Counseling. Over the years, Debbie has developed a true passion for health and fitness. On a personal note, Debbie is happily married, has two beautiful children, a playful border collie and a special fondness for chocolate cake with chocolate frosting, with a white strip of frosting in the middle!!
