In her earliest memories, you would find Lori outside exploring.  She spent the first seven years of her life in Puerto Rico which whetted her appetite for adventure. Her summers in Colorado further fueled her love for nature.

She enjoyed sports as a child and teen but found that team spirit was the true draw versus the competition. Tennis, Cheer, and Running gave her opportunities to be with friends and learn the joy of movement.  Hiking continued to ba a passion as well as running.

She met and married her husband, Jeff, in college.  A few years into their marriage, they decided to set a goal to hike all 58 Fourteeners (mountains of 14000 feet elevation or higher) in Colorado.  In the summer of 2022, they accomplished this goal.  Lori has been an avid runner, and in that same summer, she accomplished a long time goal of a marathon.  She continues to pursue adventure through hiking and finding places to explore by running.

Lori loves bringing joy to movement with her creative and thematic workouts for her clients and classes.  She is delighted by seeing people appreciate their bodies as instruments to explore, discover, and connect.  She particularly enjoys outdoor activities that connect people to creation as well as to each other.  Additional gratification comes when one of the participants overcomes obstacles to achieve something powerful for themselves with everyone cheering them on!

Lori lives with her husband and daughter, Caitlyn, in Flower Mound, Texas.  She has a married daughter, Claire, attending Texas A&M University and a son, Brandon, at LeTourneau University.  The family loves adventure and have joined many of the hikes.  They love to travel, spend time at the beach, and visit family.  They enjoy gardening, keeping chickens, and loving on their very special dog, Beau.

Lori attends Coppell Bible and leads an exercise program for women.  As a long-time homeschooling mom, she taught fitness classes at her daughter's homeschool cooperative and continues to guide her daughter's learning.  She founded her Nutrition Counseling and Personal Training business in 2003 and continues to grow her clientele.  In her spare time, you will find Lori at the Pilates Studio or learning, reading, writing, hiking, running, cooking, and/or finding the next fun workout to do.
