Meet Alexis, the Assistant Director of Fitness at the University of North Texas, where she oversees group fitness, personal training, and the weight room. With years of experience, Alexis excels in hiring, training, and mentoring a diverse team of fitness professionals. She is also a professional CPR instructor, committed to ensuring the highest standards of safety in the fitness industry.

In addition to her role at UNT, Alexis coaches at F45, blending her expertise in functional training with a passion for building community. A seasoned Pilates mat instructor, Alexis has been teaching this format for a few years, and incorporates mindfulness and core-focused techniques into her classes.

With over seven years of experience, Alexis has taught a wide range of fitness classes, including Pilates Mat, HIIT, Total Body Strength, Cycle, and more. Her passion lies in helping others enhance both their physical and mental health through exercise, integrating stress-reduction techniques to create a holistic experience.

Her previous role as head coach at Orangetheory Fitness gave her the platform to lead and mentor a team, and design challenging yet inclusive workouts. Alexis built a reputation for fostering positive environments that encourage participants to push their limits safely.

Certified as a personal trainer, Alexis crafts personalized fitness plans tailored to individual goals and needs, always considering her clients’ mental and emotional well-being. She continues to expand her expertise and believes that Pilates is an ideal complement to other fitness modalities, enhancing flexibility, core strength, and balance.

In her free time, Alexis enjoys traveling, brunching, and taking long walks with her beloved Chihuahua, Primrose. Dedicated and experienced, Alexis is ready to help clients around the world achieve their health and fitness goals.
