Lana Jones is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 230) who brings a heart-centered, breath-focused, and alignment-based approach to her teaching. With training accredited through a Registered Yoga School (RYS), Lana creates thoughtful, inclusive, and transformative experiences for students of all levels.
Originally from the beautiful island of Barbados, Lana’s journey with yoga began in 2008 and deepened after immigrating to Canada. Navigating the contrast between a relaxed island lifestyle and Canada’s fast-paced rhythm, yoga became her anchor—offering a way to stay present, grounded, and connected to a new community.
In 2016, Lana completed her 230-hour Hatha Yoga teacher training. Since then, she has been committed to continuous growth, completing additional studies in Restorative Yoga, Chair Yoga, and Trauma-Informed Yoga. Lana’s evolving knowledge reflects her dedication to inclusive and accessible practices for all bodies and backgrounds.
Lana began teaching in 2017, with an emphasis on gentle, restorative practices and breathwork. Over the years, her teaching has expanded to include her classes in vinyasa, alignment and yoga for injuries teaching. She is an avid learner who consistently pursues continuing education with Yoga Alliance-accredited programs to deepen her expertise.
Lana believes that yoga offers timeless tools for physical resilience, emotional clarity, and spiritual awakening. Her classes are known for being nurturing yet empowering—guiding students to find their breath, listen to their bodies, and explore the magic within their own unique practice.
With a grounded heart and bold spirit, Lana invites you to join her on the mat—to stretch, strengthen, and shine from the inside out.
