Mattie Lynne Nicholson is always finding new ways to turn up the heat. As a former competitive swimmer and athlete, she is drawn to the strength building practice of power yoga but also recognizes the importance of creating space to rest and recover. Mattie was introduced to power yoga in 2015 and has practiced many variations of yoga including vinyasa, bikram, and restorative. In her free time, Mattie enjoys being near bodies of water, hiking with her dog, and planning her next adventure. Mattie encourages growth of the physical and spiritual self in each of her classes through the practice of yoga itself and through intentional self-study.
