I first found my way to my mat during a class my freshman year of college and fell in love with the practice immediately. Yoga has transformed my life tremendously both externally and internally. I want to be able to share the experience of movement with connection— connecting our breath to our bodies and connecting ourselves to others and the world around us which led to me pursing my 200 hour YTT. I find freedom and bliss that comes from leaving the mind and stepping into the heart through breath and movement.
I hope to provide an uplifting and energetic experience for my students through a class that is challenging yet fun, and providing a safe outlet where one is invited to ground down amid the stressors of everyday life. I hope to empower each student to tap into their physical, mental, and emotional strength while also knowing the value and power of slowing down and finding stillness and mindfulness. I want students to know that their mat, this class, is a safe place to both fly and fall.
Beyond my mat, I work full time as a registered travel nurse and I'm an adventurous soul who loves to travel and do anything outdoors with my sweet fur baby- Mia. I strive to live an active, yogic lifestyle- focusing on health, wholeness, and happiness.
