Melissa is an E-RYT500 with over 9+ years in the Raja Yoga tradition of Yoga from South Florida’s original yoga studio of 53 years, Yoga Center of Deerfield Beach. Today, she is proud to be the Assistant Studio Manager, a Reiki Master teacher, a Yoga Nidra teacher trainer, and Sound Healing practitioner. 

Attributing the start of her yogic journey to her lifelong love of movement, Melissa has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in dance from Florida State University. Following a long career in Fine Arts teaching, Melissa is dedicated to walking a path of discovery and healing for herself and others. In addition to E-RYT500, she holds special certifications in Reiki, Yoga for Special Needs and Autism, Yin Yoga, Sound Healing, Let Your Yoga DanceⓇ , and Yoga Nidra. 

Melissa’s unique gifts lie in helping you to balance your body, mind, and spirit. Allowing you to naturally learn to take your yoga practice off the mat with you when you leave. A lifelong learner, Melissa creates an environment with a focus on compassion, patience, acceptance, and permission. Bringing forth a love and respect for the art of Yoga and all the it encompasses and is eager to share her love of Yoga and Mindfulness with the world.
