Growing up in Maryland, Meaghan started as more of an arts kid than an athlete. Despite playing sports, she found her interests more aligned with music and piano. Eventually, when she went to college to study piano performance, she found her niche in exercise: group fitness. It started with attending Yoga classes at her university gym and grew into a daily practice for her. From there, she took classes to get certified as a yoga instructor through the American Council of Exercise (ACE). After gaining this certification, she continued on to instruct other formats at her university gym, including Barre, HIIT, Cycle, Step Aerobics, TRX, and others. Upon graduating, she moved across the country to Houston, TX and became an instructor and desk worker at SPENGA, a franchise which includes combination Spin, Strength, and Yoga classes. When not at the studio, she continues to share her love of music as well as a piano teacher to around 35 students.
