Thomasina Ozanic

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago. I currently reside in Lake Zurich, IL (yes, there are lakes in IL). As you can assume, I am a huge Chicago Bears fan (even though that is hard to admit and can be totally embarrassing). I grew up watching the games with my family every Sunday!

I attended school at Northern Illinois University, where I completed my bachelors degree in Corporate and Organizational Communication. I had several different jobs out of school from being a manager at Enterprise Rent a Car to working in insurance and customer service for over five years. I was an athlete growing up and my love for staying in shape continued during and after college. I took a few weight lifting classes while I was in school then once I graduated I continued to workout and dive deeper into  it. My spouse was a trainer for 10 years and we met while working out together at the gym. He taught me much of what I know today. Once we got engaged, I started working out at a Body Builder’s gym. She put me through a “Wedding Bootcamp” to get in shape for the wedding and that’s where my love of the process took off. I competed in an Open Bikini Competition shortly after and I fell in love with the process from start to finish. I’ve been through my own weight loss journey and I am here to share with you my knowledge and accomplish your dreams! My passion is helping others and I can’t wait to start this journey together.I hold a personal training certification from American Council on Exercise (ACE) and my Nutrition Specialist Certification from ACE as well.

i enjoy bootcamp style workouts, combining strength and endurance. I also enjoy HIIT classes. You will find me in any class that gets my heart racing and is good cardiovascular challenge.

I currently personal train and teach small group classes at Life Time in Lake Zurich. Before that, I worked at the YMCA in Lake Zurich where I was the Personal Training Manager, taught small group classes and personal trained. I feel like I never have to work a day in my life because I love what I do!
