Yoga has changed my relationship with myself from that very first yoga class. I was fresh out of a long term relationship, depressed, anxious and dreading spending Valentines day alone. On February 14, 2013 I started a new relationship…with self. I quickly became a regular at Bikram yoga in Downtown Los Angeles and eventually transitioned from the hot room to practice a different style of yoga, Vinyasa. I practiced at Equinox, downtown Los Angeles under Layla Guest…. In 2015 While on a yoga retreat in Koh Sumai Thailand, my passion for the ocean and yoga collided. I discovered Stand Up Paddle Boarding (SUP)Yoga. Once home I located YOGAqua in Marina Del Rey and began practicing SUP yoga under Sarah Tiefenthaler. The disciple, focus and balance that I practiced in the yoga studio kept me on my paddle board and returning regularly. The ocean became my yoga studio. In 2016 I took Sarah Tiefenthaler’s SUP yoga teacher training. I earned a SUP yoga teaching certificate along with a level 1 SUP instructor certificate. I followed Sarah everywhere including Wanderlust yoga festivals, assisting Sarah from Oahu, Hawaii to Whistler Canada. In May 2022 I completed my 200 hour teacher training under Deep Kumar with Yoga East West in Bali, Indonesia learning about the history, philosophy, and spiritual aspects of Yoga. I will forever be a student of this practice and I am ready to share what I have learned.
My mission is to empower individuals on their journey toward harmony, health, and growth through movement & breath.
Yoga postures surely change your body but real Yoga starts when your life starts changing, the journey surely starts on the mat but it continues off the mat, in reframing your life.
