I have been a Personal Trainer for 5 years and specialize in functional fitness. Functional fitness is a theory that attempts to improve the health of the client first and have the aesthetic improvements be side effects of increased fitness. I am a stronger believer in a person being able to move their body before they can move iron. I have worked with extremely varied levels of fitness; Professional athletes all the way to pre-natal women.
I am a practitioner of martial arts and have been coaching and fighting for 6 years. I train and coach boxing, Muay Thai, and Brazilian Jui Jistu. I frequently use these as tools in my personal training techniques as everything from motivation to ways of making dreaded cardio more fun.
