I am a high energy instructor and trainer. I push myself hard and feel if fitness is something you want you will find time for it.
In addition to teaching group fitness I also am an avid runner. I have completed two marathons to date and am training for a third. Running allow me to have something for myself that I don't get from group fitness. It's my time and I can push myself as hard or as little as I like. It's my release.
I am a positive motivator both to my clients and group fitness participants. Feedback is important and I want everyone to feel thier goals are attainable. I love to teach a challenging class. Kickboxing is my specialty. I incorporate traditional martial arts with plyometric training. I take participants through intervals of intense near maximal heart rate levels to active recovery periods. Classes are fun and a fitness party. I love a large energetic group.
I have two beautiful children. Sophia, 12 and Jacob 8. I encourage them to lead healthy lifestyles and keep exercise a part of thier routines. My daughter runs and participates in kickboxing classes. They both play recreational soccer. They make good choices when it comes to nutrition.
I am in the great position of being the general manager of an active fitness facility. Here I meet a variety of people, both new and experienced exercisers. It is my priviledge to introduce those new to exercise and get them hooked on getting fit!
