Health & Fitness Professional, driven by being a lighthouse for others:
My fitness journey originally started in a dark place filled with low self esteem, self doubt, and bouts of depression as a young adult. Feeling inferior to others led to joining a gym, in hopes of being seen/validated. With consistency and dedication to growth and overall health, the relationship with exercise grew into something much more positive and powerful. Feeling the physical changes and recognizing the discipline it took throughout the journey created a healthy relationship with myself and exercise. As the physical changes took place, my personality began to blossom. In finding my own strength, I found myself being sought after for guidance. Eventually, nurturing connections led me to be introduce to Muay Thai, which I've been a practitioner of for over 7 years. With aspirations of fighting professionally, I've traveled to Thailand and Mexico multiple times in order to train and surround myself with everything from those just starting out, to world champions. I currently lead group fitness classes, Muay Thai classes, Kettlebell classes, and personal training, in the highly competitive environment of New York City.
