Dana Fitzpatrick

Dana Fitzpatrick is a career educator of over 20+ years for whom student development has always been her True North. Having practiced yoga for over ten years, she decided to enhance her personal practice by becoming a certified instructor to help others connect with their bodies, minds, and spirits. In 2020, she completed her Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) with research focused on how yoga practice is perceived to contribute to resilience.

Dana was born and raised on the Southside of Chicago and relocated with her family to Texas in 2013. She currently lives in Stephenville, TX with her husband, son, and three dogs that lack an understanding of personal space. She enjoys yoga, crafting, home decorating, visiting museums and being a grandma to her beautiful granddaughter.

Teaching Style:

I believe that yoga is for everyone, regardless of their age, fitness level, or experience. My classes are designed to be accessible to all levels, and I focus on creating a safe and supportive environment where students can feel comfortable to explore their practice. I use a variety of yoga styles, including Vinyasa, Hatha, and Yin, to create classes that are both challenging and relaxing. I also incorporate elements of mindfulness and breathwork into my classes to help students connect with their bodies and minds.

Mission:

My mission as a yoga instructor is to help people find joy, peace, and discover themselves in their practice. I believe that yoga can be a powerful tool for transformation, and I want to share that gift with others. I am passionate about helping people connect with their bodies, minds, and spirits, and I believe that yoga is the perfect way to do that.
