Calm, caring and deeply committed to the transformative path of yoga, Katrina brings a blend of heart, intuition, discipline and soul to her teaching. With a third degree black belt in karate, degrees in psychology and rehabilitation services, and a long history of endurance running, Katrina embodies balance in motion and stillness. A devoted mother of two, she weaves compassion and gratitude into every class, creating a space where all bodies and stories are welcome. Currently having attained the designation of a certified E-YT 200, (having taught 1000+ classes) Katrina offers strong experience in teaching Hatha, Vinyasa Flow, Power and Core, yoga sculpt,Yin Yoga and meditation. Katrina continues to devote her time towards expanding and improving her teachings.
Katrina has always been a very active person. She started a dedicated yoga practice for increased flexibility and injury prevention, including improved body/mind connection to balance her active lifestyle. This led to her RYT 200 certification in 2020 . Her practice encourages exploring movement and stillness, peace of mind and strength in body for individuals of all skill levels. She credits her yoga journey and life experiences with giving her greater clarity, inner peace, balance and a focus on sensing breath. She looks forward to continuing to learn all she can about this sacred practice, bringing all her lessons to the mat, and now around the globe.
