My name is Jennie Kruger and I've been teaching group fitness since 2018, when I was first certified in Les Mills BodyPump. Shortly after, I furthered my instructor education by becoming a certified group fitness instructor with the American Athletics and Fitness Association (AFAA). In 2020, I began to expand my teaching into a yoga format, and became a certified Les Mills BodyBalance instructor. Bodybalance is a format that combines yoga, tai chi, and pilates, and I have been teaching that for over 3 years now. Teaching BodyBalance inspired me to deepen my knowledge of Yoga to increase my understanding and improve and expand my teaching. I completed my 200-hour yoga certification in 2023. The course I took is certified with the Yoga alliance, so I am now a registered 200-hour RYT. I am very passionate about group fitness and love working with all different types of people. I truly believe in the power of group fitness and it's ability to bring people together to make exercise fun so that they will come to classes to work out because they want to, not because they have to. In my classes, I like to provide lots of options and as many modifications as needed to ensure that everyone can enjoy the class and work comfortably at their own level. I believe in providing safe, effective coaching and options tailored to the people in front of me.
