I have been an athlete my entire life. Growing up I played all sports and began to focus on soccer. I went on to play college for a Division I school and played a few years professionally overseas in Europe. After I finished playing, I coached at the high school, college, and semi-pro levels. As I transitioned out of playing soccer I found yoga and grew to love the practice. At first, I enjoyed yoga as a workout, but soon learned of so many other benefits that it brought me. Physically, yoga has improved my recovery from workouts, increased my range of motion, and flexibility. On a more personal level, yoga has helped me grow as a person and find more peace in my everyday life. I have had many special teachers and am so thankful for their generosity in knowledge and kindness. My current yoga practice is focused on Ashtanga Yoga. I am trained to teach vinyasa, hatha, and power flow styles of yoga. I believe yoga is for everyone. If you can breathe, you can yoga. I look forward to seeing you on your mat soon!
