My name is Mary DeJonge. I have been a fitness instructor since 2005! I love moving!! As a former school teacher I have been teaching children and adults all my life from Kindergarten to high school to Seniors. Dancing and moving to music is a universal language. No words required. Movement and sports always played a vital role in my personal and professional teaching time. I fell in love with movement at a very early age and incorporated yoga, Zumba and exercise in my daily routines with the students, school staff and community.
I have organized many events Zumba events for charity. I also and teach on Zoom, outdoors in parks, in gyms and recreational facilities. I have taught large groups of up to 100 ( Zumbathons, warm ups for 5km charity runs etc.) and as small as 3 participants. No group is too small. Spread the benefits of exercise at all costs..
I call myself "a movement motivator,". I want everyone to love their body and love how they feel!
Move with Mary!! My goal has been to teach in a style that makes everyone comfortable and having so much fun that they return and experience not only all the physical benefits but the mind as well. This is why all my programs include incredible motivating music!!
I am a huge advocator of Group fitness!! The benefits of sweating, exercising with music in a group setting is exhilarating, motivating, social and a huge stress releaser! I am looking forward to sharing this passion!!!
