Rhona Parsons

I have been involved in the fitness/yoga world since 1996 and am a continual education provider for Yoga Alliance and provincial registering companies for the fitness industry in British Columbia, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan. I am a highly accomplished Presenter, Entrepreneur, Author, Life Coach, Fitness Instructor, and Personal Trainer.​​​

I have followed my love and passion for helping others by developing and teaching fitness, Pilates, and Yoga programs. I am a former Pilates/Yoga studio owner and was the fitness director for a National fitness company for five years, overseeing a team of 15 instructors.  In 2016, I took my coaching and teaching further and became a certified Life Coach through the Certified Coaches Federation of Canada.
 
As a Mind, Body, and spirit theory student and an internationally recognized Yoga Instructor, I love guiding and instructing others to live their best lives. Prior to Covid 19, I was a Canadian National Master Bender Ball Trainer teaching the Bender Ball Method, Tabata GX, and Barre Above. I have authored many programs including the successful Bender Ball Chair Yoga course that was taught nationally.

I love teaching a variety of classes, and I work one-on-one with clients, helping them create success in their lives through fitness, health, and wellness programs.  When I wasn't teaching online, you would find me traveling throughout the provinces of BC and Alberta mentoring many instructors and teaching CEC-approved workshops.

Pre-COVID, I hosted very successful annual Yoga retreats in Mexico, coaching my guests to bring balance into their lives through my signature coaching program, the Art of B.A.L.A.N.C.E. In 2015, I created my signature program, Antaraka Yoga – an amazing Pilates-infused-Yoga class that I teach to dedicated instructors so they too can inspire others across the globe. I have certified 100s of instructors and continue offering them more in-depth programs annually.

As a published author, I was honored to be a part of a best-seller book, "Shine 2" in 2017 and I have personally published my successful books "21 Ways To Bring Balance Into Your Life" and "Balance Yoga for Parkinson's Disease and Other Movement Disorders". Most recently, I became a best seller with my 6-week transformational program, bodyFIT Beyond the Scale.  An 8-hour certification course for Personal Trainers and Small Group instructors will be launched in January 2024.

Daily, I live my truth by balancing my dedication to my career and clients and my devotion to my family, my three beautiful daughters, and 8 wonderful grandchildren.
