Jeffrey Barley

Mr. Jeff Barley was by profession a scientist, researcher, and product development technologist in the plastics and petrochemical industry for over 20 years.  His involvement in fitness and sports includes various martial arts, Tai Chi, yoga, cardio-fitness, swimming, soccer, gymnastics, basketball, cycling, rowing, and sailing as well as experience as a marathoner and a triathalete.  Sensei Barley has held many positions of responsibility, leadership, teaching and coaching including swimming instructor, Lifeguard, Water Safety Instructor, youth soccer coach prior to becoming the Head Instructor and Director of Bushi Ban International-Pearland.Sensei Barley has completed over one thousand hours of martial arts training andis a Certified Bushi Ban Black Belt Instructor. He has traveled across the US for specialized training and instruction from world renown Grand Masters and is endorsed by the Grand Masters' and Masters of Bushi Ban as a highly respected Instructor. Formerly the Head Instructor of Bushi Ban International-Clear Lake and continues as a member of the Board of Directors of Bushi Ban International.Sensei. Barley has demonstrated considerable skill and developed special expertise to better enhance and improve the lives of his students and their families.   Through continual training and study to advance his own skills and teaching methods as well utilizing daily experience and feedback from students and parents, Sensei Barley's dedication to Bushi Ban, martial arts, and fitness is recognized throughout the Bushi Ban organization and the local community.  As Director and co-owner of the Bushi Ban International-Pearland his accomplished background, personal experience, and commitment continues to drive the success of his staff and students.
