- Brenna Brown
I have been practicing Yoga for over 16 year. My practice began as a physical one, and as it grew, the self love I discovered was radical. In the years since, I have looked inward to further cultivate my internal practice.
Teaching, I now share both the physical and meditative aspects of the practice effectively. My style has developed from a place of encouragement for practitioners to find their entrance in. This can be found wherever they may be in that moment, day, week, or season of their life.
My other educational background is in ecology, so I bring an ecological perspective to the workings of the body within our environments. I pay special attention to the interconnectivity physically within our bodies as well as how we interact energetically with the spaces and beings around us.
My focus areas are
- Flow - Slower dynamic flows or poses held for longer help bring a stillness and gentleness.
- Fun - Having fun in the movements and bringing a smile to practitioners faces.
- Accessibility - I always strive to give options and encourage practitioners to listen to their bodies. I emphasize the use of props to support the body, and want to provide Yoga to anyone who may come through the portal to class.
- Yin and Rest - Restorative postures round out every class to help open the minds of practitioners.
