Carlos Henriquez is a world-renowned Zumba Instructor and Jammer that is well known for his innovative Bachata choreography. He has worked with countless musicians from around the globe, and is an Annual Zumba Convention Presenter representing Canada for the past 13 years.
I was born and raised in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. From a young age I knew that I could move others through dance. In between work and school I would attend traditional folkloric classes, and then moved onto the Dominican Republic's National Ballet school. Clearly having found my passion I spent the next few years dancing and choreographing the entertainment at resorts all over the Dominican Republic.
In 2008 went on to join the global movement of Zumba Fitness as a licensed Zumba Instructor & Zumba® Jammer since 2010. ZINCON™ presenter sessions since 2012 and performed onstage for Fitness-Concert™ events in Orlando and Los Angeles. Bachata is his favorite rhythm and sharing this form of dance and all of its subtleties has made him the renowned "Bachata King" El Bachatu.
