Sherise ALSTON

Sherise Alston- Wife, mother to five. Born in Atchison, Ks. Topeka has been my home for several years now. 2006 graduate of Topeka High School. While in high school I began my career in childcare volunteering at local childcare centers. After completing high school, I continued my education in early childhood development obtaining my associates in the field along with my commercial driving license so I could transport children while working at the boys and girls club of Topeka. I opened my own childcare in August of 2015 Rise N Shine Child Care LLC. Creating a program called Y.A.M.E.L. You And Me Early Learning to help interact with parents creating goals for their child ages 6 weeks to five years old preparing them for kindergarten. I enjoy working with the youth, helping them learn and grow. I have recently expanded my reach to helping adults as well. I mentor others who want to obtain their own childcare, a cycling instructor and CPR/AED Instructor.I love to see the growth in others whether big or small and hope to continue to expand my own growth so I can continue to help others.
