- Matt Mueller
Matt Mueller has been playing tennis since he was 13 and is the captain for the Western Mustangs. He received three bronze medals at the Canadian National Championships and three golds at the OUA championships with his team. Matt will be part of the Mustangs again at Nationals this summer at the National Bank Open and will be entering his second year at the Ivey School of Business in the fall. He has been competing at an elite level including Canadian Nationals, National Selections, Closed Provincial Championships, and multiple ITF tournaments.
Matt has been an instructor for 6 years and was the club pro at the Sarnia Tennis Club from 2021-2023 and the Assistant Pro at the London Hunt and Country Club since 2023. He has been an active advocate for grassroots tennis in his community after raising over $25,000 when he was young to resurface the courts in his rural town. He was awarded Ontario Junior Citizen of the Year from Canada's Lieutenant Governor and continues to actively promote the sport.
