LAKEISHA LINGO

Lakeisha Lingo was born and raised in Camden, NJ. As a child she developed a love for dance after being enrolled in dance school at the age of three. She attended various schools to polish her craft and by the age of sixteen she was appointed a student/teacher position at Philadanco in Philadelphia, PA where she remained until she left for college. Lakeisha moved on to pursue her dance degree at Camden County College. She graduated with honors receiving an Associate’s Degree in Arts & Science, also obtaining a teacher’s certification and an invitation to the American Dance Therapy Association. 

Lakeisha joined a church in Lindenwold, NJ where she turned her life over to the Lord, and fell in love with the ministry of dance. After studying and ministering Praise Dance for several years in church, God gave her a passion along with multiple opportunities to travel throughout the US ministering and teaching in various churches and conventions. After submitting to the will, and working for the Lord, He blessed her with a wonderful husband and a set of twins who tirelessly encourage and support her.

Lakeisha has established her own business which is called “Preach With Your Body,” a strategic empowerment course in Dance Movement Therapy. She aquired her degree in Psychology from Capella University in March of 2019, and Zumba and Circl Licenses in 2023. With the combination of knowledge gained and the assistance of the Holy Spirit, she plans to empower individuals across the globe.
