I took my first yoga class because I lost a bet with a close friend. I couldn't get into most of the poses so to compete and outperform her, I signed up for another class. I was fortunate that in that very first class, I learned that yoga is the opposite of competition. I learned to listen to my body and not my ego. I was hooked and yoga has been part of my everyday since 2005.
I decided to deepen my knowledge and became certified in 2016. I was already teaching mini yoga classes to friends so I decided to teach in 2017 and have been teaching ever since.
I have been a member of the Junior League since 2013. It is an organization that helps make a positive impact in communities through volunteerism and education.
I have one daughter a large boisterous and funny family and 3 dogs.
